Sairento VR comes from developers Mixed Realms, a Singapore-based indie game developer. If it’s guns, swords and slow motion gameplay you're after, then Sairento VR is right up your street, all intertwined with action visual alleyways in an amazing virtual reality experience.
This hybrid RPG will for sure be your next go-to game to get your VR fix. At first glance, the amount of awesome moves you can pull off is an understatement. You play as a member of the “Silent Ones” an organisation of regular people who practice the long forsaken code and martial arts of the ancient samurais and ninjas, all set in futuristic Japan.
We all have our inner ninja right? Well you have a huge weapon arsenal to unleash, as well as a ton of moves to bust on your enemies, but it doesn’t just stop there - you can also upgrade your weapons to make it just that tad more special and immersive.
“We created Sairento VR as a tribute to action-loving fans who want to experience the iconic “bullet-time” scenes from The Matrix, blended with the slow-motion mayhem of the Max Payne game series, all while looking and feeling as badass as the Bride from Kill Bill.” said the Founder of Mixed Realms, Aldric Chang.
With the overwhelming amount of positive reviews - we have linked you some more below - we can expect a full release in late 2017. The studio have told us that more levels, improved gameplay, graphics and enemies are also on their way.
“We wanted to treat players to an exhilarating and visceral VR experience, from being able to perform double jumps to taking down foes in a ballet of slow motion gunplay,” said Chalit Noonchoo, Creator and Lead Developer of Sairento VR.
Not only are the team a delight to talk to, they have definitely hit the nail on the head in terms of where VR gaming really should be, and they have created something beautiful. This game deserves a highly well earned 5/5 and if I could give it more, I would!
